With a diverse career spanning military service, business management, and international franchising, Kit Brinkley brings a wealth of experience to the table.
After six years in the Army, serving in the UK (Colchester), Germany (Munster), and the Far East (Malaysia), Kit transitioned into the business world, managing enterprises in the leisure and exhibitions industry.
His expertise in large-scale events was underpinned during his time with NewsCorp, where he played a key role in organising the Live ’93, ’94, and ’95 Consumer Electronics Exhibitions at Earl’s Court One and Two. He later joined the organisers of the UK’s leading franchise exhibitions, a move that paved the way for his next major venture.
In 2007, Kit co-founded World Franchise Associates (WFA), a global consultancy firm dedicated to expanding brands across Europe (France, Germany, Italy), the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman), and the Far East (Malaysia, Thailand).
Over his 17 years with WFA he established a strong network of franchise professionals, and the company continues to help UK and international brands to expand successfully.
Now, having stepped down as Head of Special Projects at WFA, Kit has launched CB Consultancy, offering flexible business support for individuals and companies. Whether in sales, marketing or strategic growth, Kit provides expert guidance tailored to business needs.
Kit is married to his Danish wife based in Suffolk, England with their family living in the UK, Denmark, USA and the Azores.
